A weimaraner named Blue doesn't bring back the Goose his human shot while hunting. Instead, the Weim befriends the wounded bird and aids him while he gets his health back. They head south together, freezing in the snow and finding they can't trust the humans who befriend them but find great friendship with themselves. With the brilliant art and text of Mary Jane Auch, her own Weimaraner is the basis for this heartwarming tale. The 10.25" wide x 9.25" tall hardback is in great condition complete with dust jacket. Unfortunately, the dust jacket does have a large 3" rip on the front cover, which could be mended. The 30-page book is a First Edition, printed in 1993 and long out of print.
