"Hot Dog" is from the Step Into Reading Series, with only three or four words on a page but wonderful illustrations of a hot dachshund who tries to find ways to cool off. This copy is in okay condition with no missing pages, but signs of wear, and the previous owner's name (Ethan H.) neatly written on the inside front cover. This 6" x 9" soft cover book would be a wonderful book for Dachshund lovers, or as a gift to a child from a dachshund. BkHotDog- $6.95

Everyone is impressed - everyone, that is, except for Greta, the one dog in the world that Pretzel wanted to impress. She didn't pay much attention to him, until the day when his length saved the day! She is the perfect dog for the Little family - until mysterious intruders come to the house - intruders that only Sally Dog Little can see! With text by Bill Richardson and illustrations by Celine Malepart, the 23-page hardback book was published in 2002. The book and the dust jacket are in excellent condition. - BkSally - $14.95

"Nobody's Diggier Than a Dog” or naggier or waggier or puddlier or cuddlier! Very often, words cannot describe man's best friend, so sometimes you've just got to break the rules! This 31-page paperback was written by John Shefelbine and illustrated by Jackie Snider. "Barkley" by Syd Hoff is An Early I Can Read Book published by Weekly Reader in 1975. Barkley is a great circus dog. But one day, Barkley's owner says, "I think you are getting old. Another dog is taking your place." Poor Barkley! Will he have to leave the circus he loves? This 32 page hardback book is 6.25"w x 8.75" and is in great condition with some minor scuffing. "Suzette Jumps on Board" by Jenifer Regan. Illustrations by Martin Wagner. One of the adventures of Lone Star Louie (the dachshund) told all in rhyme. Louie and his friends are out on their boat, when Louie meets a nutria named Suzette. His friends all are scared of her, saying she looks different, until Louie reminds them that we ALL look different from each other - and isn't that a good thing!
